Getting enough sleep on the weekends can be crucial for the following work week. We often throw out our normal schedules on the weekends, but staying out too late or sleeping less can make Monday a lot more miserable. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t make time for fun, though. Resist the temptation to work on the weekends, and instead use the time to relax and pursue your hobbies. You can also use the weekend to look at the big picture of your life. How are things going? Is stress following you into Saturday and Sunday? Are you feeling pressure when you shouldn’t be? Finally, when Sunday night rolls around, use the time to plan your week. It will make you ready to tackle the work week first thing Monday morning!
